OK, the first thing to say about this Jumping Spider is that it was originally conceived way back during the Inktober 2022. He was going to be part of the roster of fighters I designed for that year’s challenge; however, I never got satisfied with the versions I made, until now. And yes, you’re seeing correctly, he’s got a boxer’s boot on his head.

This is a remake of that CASTLE prompt word inktober drawing I made back in 2023.
I have also updated the original SHORT STORY for it, you can find it here (I hope you like it.):

The Knowledge Stone
Inspired by one of Veronika Bond‘s great articles, “Going Analog,” here’s the artwork that illustrates how I feel reading her work.

These are the Hotdog Defenders, a band of misfits who cannot fit into any tag. They are as genuine as their love for hotdogs, and they will not let anyone take that away from them.

“…an echo of that music has stayed in my head ever since, an echo that has blossomed and has grown coloured petals, and I have countless times wished I could go back and hear it again in the flesh…“

In some versions, the priest was lynched by the townsfolk, who decapitated him after his sins came to light. Since then, he should have wandered to prevent those same sins from happening until his debt to God and the people was paid.

Here’s the final entry (for me) to this past Inktober. This is an illustration that I came up with since the first time I read the prompt word “Scarecrow.” It took me a bit to resume the drawing by the end of October, but here it is.
